What This Service Involves

Heavy, waterlogged Cascade snow can load a residential deck with far more weight than dry powder, and Western Washington decks are frequently built out over sloping lots. We remove that load carefully, working with the grain to protect stain and sealant that our wet climate makes hard to maintain. Composite and cedar decks each call for a different touch, so we adjust our tools and technique to the material. Clearing the deck also stops meltwater from repeatedly seeping into the boards and refreezing in the joints.
