What This Service Involves

Downspouts freeze solid during Western Washington cold snaps, trapping meltwater in the gutters where it feeds ice dams and overflows onto walkways below. A blocked downspout turns the entire drainage system into an ice trap, and the overflow refreezes into hazardous sheets at ground level. Our crews thaw and clear the frozen columns so water can move down and away from the building as designed. Restoring downspout flow relieves pressure on gutters and eaves and stops the ground-level icing that overflow creates.
