Roy Bulk Salt Delivery
Bulk salt delivery keeps your on-site supply stocked so crews never run short during a prolonged cold snap.
Washington Snow Removal delivers bulk salt to properties in Roy, Pierce County. We are licensed, bonded and insured, and we run out of our yard in Bothell, which is 104 minutes from Roy.
Roy sees an average of 6.2 in of snow per season, but it logs 42 freezing nights between October and April. Most trouble here is thin ice, not deep snow. Bulk salt gives you material on hand for those mornings. Call 206-809-9669 to talk through your site.

What bulk salt delivery involves at Roy properties
Bulk salt delivery means we bring salt by the ton instead of you buying it bag by bag. Bulk salt, applied, is $300 / ton. If you only need small amounts for walkways, bagged ice melt is $45 / 50 lb bag.
Roy gets about 1.8 days a year with 1 in or more of snow. That is not many. But light-snow days that need deicing average 3.45 a year, and the area has 42 freezing nights from October to April. Ice is the main problem, so salt on hand matters more than plow capacity.
Recent events show the range. Roy logged winter weather on Nov 22, 2010, an ice storm on Jan 19, 2012, and a winter storm on Feb 12, 2021. Two ice storm reports have been logged since 2005. Rare events can still leave surfaces slick.
