Keeping You Moving. Beyond Expectations.
We clear gravel driveways carefully to remove snow without scattering your loose surface.
Washington Snow Removal plows gravel driveways in Roy, Pierce County. Roy averages 6.2 inches of snow per season, so most winters bring only a few plow-worthy days. When they come, a gravel surface needs careful handling.
We are based in Bothell, and we are licensed, bonded and insured. Service starts at 1 inch of accumulation. A two-car driveway with front walk and steps starts at $360 per visit. A single-car driveway starts at $240. Call 206-809-9669 to set up service.

A gravel driveway is not the same job as pavement. Scrape too low and the plow pulls up stone and leaves ruts. Scrape too high and packed snow turns to ice. Our work is aimed at clearing the snow while leaving the gravel where it belongs.
Roy does not see snow often. The ground holds snow on about 4 days a year, and only 1.8 days a year bring 1 inch or more. Still, 73% of winters have at least one 1-inch day. Freezing nights are more common, with 42 between October and April. That matters on gravel, because meltwater can refreeze in low spots and tire tracks.
Big storms do happen. Since 2005, the biggest was February 11 to 15, 2021, with 15.4 inches in total and 7.1 inches on the biggest day. The biggest single day was 8.3 inches. The snowiest season, 2018-19, reached 16.7 inches.
Plans are priced from Roy's snow history of about 1.82 plow visits in an average season. An ice plan add-on is available from $455 per season.
