What This Service Involves

Cul-de-sacs on the plateaus and hillsides around Puget Sound are frequently last on any public plow route, if they are cleared at all. Their circular shape makes snow tricky to relocate without burying driveways or mailboxes. We plow the bulb so cars, delivery vans, and emergency vehicles can circle through, and we stack snow where it will not block access. On the grades common in Kitsap and East King County, we treat the surface so residents are not stranded by ice at the bottom of the hill.

Our Process

1) Plow the circular bulb and connecting street width; 2) Push snow to storage areas that will not block driveways; 3) Clear mailbox and hydrant approaches within the circle; 4) Apply traction treatment on graded or shaded sections
