What This Service Involves

Not every bin sits inside an enclosure, and open dumpsters on a back lot collect wind-driven Puget Sound snow along every side. We clear a walkable path from the nearest building exit out to the container and open the ground around it so lids swing freely. Where our damp snow has crusted into ice overnight, we break the surface and lay down traction material. Tenants can carry trash out safely instead of tracking slush back indoors or skipping the trip entirely.

Our Process

1) Identify the tenant exit closest to the dumpster; 2) Clear a firm path from that door to the container; 3) Open the ground around all sides and lift points; 4) Apply grit where the surface has refrozen
