What This Service Involves

The single most effective ice management tactic in our climate is treating surfaces before the temperature drops, and pretreatment does exactly that. We apply brine or granular anti-icer to dry pavement ahead of a forecasted freeze so any moisture that lands cannot form a solid bond. This makes the eventual clearing faster, easier, and cheaper than fighting established ice. We schedule pretreatment around the specific timing of Puget Sound freeze-thaw events, hitting the window when rain is expected to end and temperatures fall.
